MID-LENGTH FICTION
Johan Zuiderwijk lives in Bezuidenhout, The Hague. After the bombing of Rotterdam and the hopeless war, he and a few others set up a resistance group, partly because of a Jewish friend. They discover German rocket installations in the Hague forest, aimed at London. As their actions become riskier, Johan discovers a traitor in the group. Friendship becomes uncertain. On March 3, 1945, a British bombing goes horribly wrong.
